Fowl Feast!

Dead ChickensImagine this: It's very early morning in your home in Alaska, around 5 a.m. You're lying in bed and hear your free range chickens beneath your bedroom window.  You hear them cackling, and suppose that they weren't locked up last night.  When you wake up in the morning, you discover your chickens are dead.  They are all over the yard, body parts torn off, some with their heads ripped off. You suspect a bear, but as you clean them up, you hear wolves howling. You wonder as you look at the chicken coop.  Would the wild animal that did this, come back?  A couple tells you that they saw a bear and her cub enter your yard.  You then see the bears clawing around the majority of deceased chickens they had left.  After this, they go back up towards a trail that goes to the creek near your house.  This happened to our sister and her family in Alaska.
